SATRA Membership Heralds Global Expansion for ESM

ESM (The European Shoe Machinery Company Ltd), based in Kettering, UK, believes that becoming a member of SATRA will enable the company to continue expanding the range of products and services supplied to the global footwear industry.

SATRA is recognised as a global centre of excellence with world class support for its members in the areas of quality, efficiency and fitness for purpose. It also provides access to scientists, technologists and manufacturing experts to help find the solutions to development challenges.

ESM are continually improving their own machinery's performance and efficiency and have recently expanded to provide customers with consultancy services to help them identify ways to streamline their operations, adding profit back to their bottom line. ESM Managing Director, Roberto Petrozzi says "Our business has evolved from a machinery and spares provider into a business partner advising clients how to reach their performance goals through simplification, efficiency and high performance machinery investment. Investment into new technologies at ESM has been continuing, despite the economic downturn. "We are diversifying to provide precision engineering across a much broader spectrum of sectors now. Automotive, aviation and manufacturing projects are growing significantly since we opened up our precision engineering facility to business outside the footwear industry. Increasingly this is expanding our global presence further. SATRA membership is key to our expansion and provides both new and existing customers assurance that we are advising them with the highest expertise possible", comments Mr Petrozzi.
